We are staying at Yacht Club in August, and I planned to book an evening meal in Epcot, and walk over there just before our reservation. If the Park happens to fill up that day and closes, will they still impose the $10 per person penalty for late cancellation? Thanks in advance for any information!

There are very few times a year when Epcot is even close to closing. It has a HUGE park capacity. I highly doubt that they will close Epcot in the middle of August. No worries. :cool1:

I have never heard of EPCOT ever closing for Capacity, though if it did/does happen it is on one of the Major holidays, July4th or NewYears Eve.

Thanks for info. We were once turned away from Magic Kingdom, and I wasn't sure if this was something that could happen at any park. I'll make the booking now!

Pretty sure the last time Epcot closed was New Years Eve 1999.

It just doesn't happen very often even on holidays. There is no way it will happen in the middle of August unless Walt himself came back from the dead and did a meet and greet at Epcot.

Or if Captain Jack himself showed up (in the form of Johnny Depp).;)
