Will we need to do Fantasmic package in November?

Both times we've done Hollywood & Vine fantasmic package, we've been a bit disappointed with the buffet choice and felt rushed both times. Is Mama Melrose's any better or would we be okay to just queue for Fantasmic as it's November?

We go to Disney about 4 times a year. We did the dinner package 1 time. We did not care for the seats. We get to the show about 45 minutes early and always get a great seat in the middle with no package.
