Will we make it from GF to Spectro on time?

We have ADR @ 1900 Park Fare our last evening on a Friday night at 6:20 and Spectro is scheduled for 8 PM. Do you think we'll be able to get decent seats for Spectro or are we pushing it? How early do people line up for Spectro?

You'll definitely be pushing it. You may get there in time but I don't think you'll have a good spot. People will be getting their spots when you are just sitting down for dinner!

I agree that you won't have enough time. We went to Spectro in October on a Wednesday night. Granted there were nights that MNSSHP was going on so MK closed early to folks without tickets, and Spectro didn't run on MNSSHP nights. Anyway, despite being "off season" it was PACKED. We had dinner at Concourse at 6 PM, so we were going in to MK shortly after 7 PM, Spectro was at 8 PM. Wall to wall people. They routed us down a back alley over to Frontierland, which was also PACKED.

I would absolutely give yourself more time. Move your ADR earlier if you can, or try to get an ADR somewhere inside MK.

good point but if you can manage to push your way through the shops to frontierland i think you will still find a good seat.

Yeah you should be ok if you can get to the end of the parade route. It's definitely worth a shot. Best of luck!

We had pretty-much the same issue: We had ADRs at Whispering Canyon at 6:00 PM, three weeks ago, and we just managed to see the very tail-end of the last float of Spectromagic down at the other end of Main Street, as we were walking in the main entry. There was absolutely no way we could have made it through that crowd to get to the entry to Adventureland, so as to make it to Frontierland in time to catch any part of the parade.

The only way (and we have done this) is to get immediately onto the train when you enter the park, then get off and watch in Frontierland at the end of the route. This method gives you about 30 minutes extra time, though you still may not catch the lead floats.
