Will we have problems using our tickets early?

I have a split stay in November with the first two nights off site, followed by 6 nights on site. We have 7 day park hoppers linked to our on site stay, but would like to start using them the day before we check in to that resort. Is this going to cause any problems, or is there anything specific I will need to do to activate them early? Will I be able to make Fastpasses for that first day?

1. That'll work.

2. Nope. Standard procedure.

3. Go to any Guest Relations outside any park, or at the Disney Springs "Welcome Center" and
have your resort info and photo ID with you.
This can be done up to 10 days prior to check-in.

4. Not in advance. You can book for that day as soon as you activate your tickets.
