We are traveling with four adults and three children (7, 4, 1). It says that there needs to be a party of seven for two photo packages, but we are really only paying for six since the youngest is just one. So the question is do we or don't we get two photo packages? :confused3

We went in Dec. '07. Our party was 4 adults and 2 children. We only got one package. They did take pictures of each child separately and one picture of them together. ETA- I did ask them if they could do that. The large picture was of the two of them together and I think the smaller ones were 4x6s. They did a wonderful job. If you get the photopass, make sure you take your photo package to a photopass kiosk and they will scan in the serial numbers on your pictures. Then you can get extra pictures any size you wish!!

I love photopass!!!

Hope you and your family have a wonderful trip!!

the photopass number for all of our CRT pictures was printed in the corner of the larger picture. We did order a different picture than the one provided at lunch.

how much did Photopass cost you? I am afraid to get suckered in....

Also, we do have seven bodies (six that will be paid for) that will be at the table with us, not six, so will we or won't we get the second package? Anyone else have any experience with this?

If you pre-order the Photopass, you can get it for 20% off I think it is. The cost is $99 pre-paid. It was worth it to us. Everyone was in the pictures. Really nice. You can add borders and enhancements. The purchase price includes the property rights so you can make copies anywhere. I didn't buy any hard copies at Disney. I can get them cheaper at home. (I did get some pictures at CRT but that came with the reservation package.)

HTH! :)

Okay...so $99...then no extra fee if we don't choose to have Disney print out the photos for us? We can print from our own printer or at any photo place?

I would like to know that too. This will be our first family trip. Are there a lot of photographers around. Do they really take that many pics? :confused3

I know nothing about the CRT pictures and how much extra the package will be (though I think you have to buy the package to have them added to your photopass account). But the 99 prepurchase gives you the CD of pictures (originals and the edits you do to them online), if you're in the States it includes shipping, and it includes the release so you can legally make prints of pictures for your family's purposes wherever you want to. No extra charge if you don't buy any of their prints. :)

I hope you get your answer soon! Perhaps pick up a solo traveler from the Dis for that meal to make sure you get the two packages? :goodvibes

I was told that with 5 or more (kids included in the total number) you get 2 packages.

Please forgive me for being a duhhh....but I just booked for Oct. for our first trip with the DP. Do you get the photo package for free? I assumed not...until I read your posts.:confused3 Sorry.....

Yes. :) And as Bumbershoot stated, no shipping fee either. It's a good deal.

I'm trying not to be bummed about not getting two packages for CRT we had 6 people. I wonder if you had to ask about it? I didn't know that was an option. I thought one was it for our group. Darn. Well, I am happy with what we did get.

Hope the two packages work out for you and that you have a great trip! :wizard:

JackJack08, the reservation at CRT includes a photo package.

The is from allearsnet but I also checked with the CM when making my ADR and she backed it up.
Cinderella's Royal Table Lunch
is a Disney Princess-themed character meal.
When you arrive at Cinderella Castle for your reservation,
a photographer will be on hand to take pictures of your group in the lobby,
before you are seated in the dining room.
A package with four 4x6 prints and one 6x8 print of your photo,
as well as one 6x8 print of Cinderella Castle,
in a Cinderella photo holder (valued at $29.95 plus tax)
will be delivered to you during your meal,
which will be from a fixed-price, set menu.
(One photo package per party of 4;
two photo packages for parties of 5-8, etc.)

Additional photos may be purchased.

I think they do count the baby in the total # of people in your group, so you should be all set.

We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids, & 1 infant). We were at CRT with our friends, who are a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids). The CM counted us as a group of 9 and we got 3 photo packages.

Hey guys. I did get two packages! I'm totally nuts. I went through my stuff, because I thought I had two folders. I did. How did I forget that?! I guess it's still all a blur. Christmas time and planning overload. Both of the folders have terrific pictures of the castle on one side and a nice 8x10 of your child with Cinderella on the other. Then they also include a few 4x6s of the children. They did a great job. OP, they may give you a photo package for each child, even the infant. That would be nice. I got an individual of each child and one shot of them together with Cinderella. Sorry for the confusion. :upsidedow

Thanks to you...:thumbsup2

You're welcome! :) I have a funny story. When we arrived at CRT, I had forgotten we got the package! Forgot all about it! We went to dinner and got in line for what we thought was dinner but it was the photo line. After the photos, the line was taken up the stairs to dinner. We just went with the flow, like cattle. Anyway, a CM will bring you your photo folders before or while you are eating. The CM that came to us was so nice. She told us to have the pictures scanned in at Photopass. She also told us where the Convention center is located. I had no idea. Really nice CM.

As an aside, if you do purchase the photopass and want more pictures of your Prince or Princess you can go to the Convention center (located near the entrance of MK). The Convention center has a Photopass "portrait studio" station that is awesome! It's inside, located near the back. The photographer took about 25 professional pictures of each child and a bunch of them together, in a great setting. No extra fee! The fee was included with the pre-paid price. I almost cried they looked so cute. Great pictures! There is a thread called; Bibbity Bobbity Boutique that shows all the little girls and boys dressed up and a lot of them went to the Convention center. (If I can find it I will come back and include it in this thread.) We did the BBB and it was fun! That's a whole topic unto itself. We scheduled the BBB at the castle for about and 1 1/2 hours before our dinner reservation. When the BBB was done we walked across the hallway and ate in the castle. Then headed to the Convention center for the photos. It worked out beautifully. We couldn't do much more than that that evening. It was busy! And the kids were beat. It was a wonderful night!

Sorry this was so long. I hope it was helpful. :) :goodvibes

Tons of photographers everywhere. Feel free to grab them and ask them to take a picture. Since we had pre-paid this time, we seemed to ask a lot more than normal. You have to be a little forward since some of them don't ask. My friends were there at the same time so I combined their pictures with ours and got a CD. All together we had over 100 pictures. Definitely worth the $99 - and loved saving $12.95 for each of the packages that I wanted.

This is great! I will definitely bring the kids to the Convention Center...I am getting so excited to go. This is our first time with children, our DS who is 1, and my husband's cousin's kids, two girls, who are 7 and 4. I am excited to see Disney through their eyes. I just want to trip to be special for everyone and the photos will help make that happen.

Thanks!:thumbsup2
