It's only 2 adults (regular size) and 1 toddler. But with the stroller and all our luggage it does not seem like we would ll fit. We've done the towncar with just the 2 adults and our luggage filled the trunk. Our 1st trip to the world we rented a car and paid all that money to drive to our hotel and back to the airport. We are not people who go outside The World so that's not an issue. My DH says we don't need to reant a car but I think we might have more room..since we are the driver..and compared to a towncar service van it might be similar costs (have not checked into that)

What do families do besides taxi and Mears (never again) with all the baby equip?

Wow..I looked into the rates and 1 of those large vans at Tiffany's is $95 round trip to our hotel. Definitely cheaper than a car we won't use and no wait in lines to pickup/dropoff.

Comments on my choice still appreciated on what families have done.

We have never used the towncar, but have used the Tiffany Van and this may be overkill for the three of you. We had three children myself and DH, my mother and grandmother and a stroller. We still had room to spare in the van. (not much)

I would call Tiffany and ask about the towncar but I can not imagine that three people (including stuff) could not fit in this.

That having been said, I don't think the rates are much different between the town car rental and the van rental - so you may want to just rent this for peace of mind.

Good Luck!!

We were 3 adults and 2 children and we fit in a towncar with no problem at all! On the way back we had a van and still had no problem and we had 11 pieces of luggage and 2 carry on's.

Interested to know if anyone thinks that four good-sized adults will be able to fit COMFORTABLY in a towncar...my DH and I will be traveling with my inlaws (their first trip to Disney), and we didn't think we could all fit in one car, was considering renting two towncars. What do you think??

IVY :p

ok I give..how did you fit 11 pieces of luggage in the trunk of a towncar. That's what I don't get. I know us and the baby and carryon's can can go in the car but his stroller pluss all our luggage in the trunk! I guess I'll call them and let them know how much lugage we have when I know more later.

Thanks for the comments and keep them coming

I was wondering too....
It's just DH and I. Between us and our luggage we are comfortable and roomy in a town car. But beyond three people, esp with a lot of luagge or carriers, it would be tight.
We often fill up the trunk with our luggage and packages for our week long stay.

The towncars from Tiffany and the others are just REGULAR standard towncars, they don't have a ton of room, in my opinion.

When we've gone to WDW, we've used Tiffany's stretch limo for the 4 of us (2 adults, 1 pre-teen, 1 teen) and of course had a ton of room, but there's no way we would've have fit comfortably in a towncar. For 4 people, that would mean that 3 would be in the back seat and 1 person up front with the driver. Include the average amount of luggage and there's really not much room to be comfortable.

For our cruise next summer we are hiring Tiffany's van for the 4 of us, DSs will both be teenagers by then and they're BIG kids! LOL

For about the same price, I'd definitely recommend the van over the towncar.. Why not be comfortable?! :)

We try to pack light but with kids ages 3 and 1 there's a lot of gear to deal with! We used a Cartier van and though it had MUCH more room than we needed we figured it would be better to have too much room than too little, especially since the van only cost a few dollars more than the towncar.

The van was great--I say go for it and that'll make one less thing for you to have to worry about on your trip!

I had forgotten about my stroller! I will definately need to get the van over the town car. Thanks so much for asking this question!

I do not know how we fit 11 pieces in the trunk!(lol) We had 5 big suitcases, 2 small ones 3 back packs, and 2 carry on's, and 2 dance bags as the kids were dancing at MK. We did keep the video camera case on our laps, and the dance bags. My husband and sister sat up front with the driver, and me and the 2 kids sat in the back. We were supposed to have a van pick us up, but they sent the towncar and we didn't want to wait for a van so we squeezed in. We were fine, it's only 1/2 hr, but if it was longer we would have waited for a van. When they picked us up to go back to the airport, they did have a van. When we reserved with FL Tours, they ask you how many passengers and luggage and they determine what your best needs are. If you have 5 passengers, they will tell you that a towncar is tight.

We rented a van for our last trip, and our one next week (I just love saying next week:D )

Anyway, It wasn't that much more, then a car, and now I don't have to worry. There are 4 of us. We don't have the strollers, and car seats any more. But, with our grocery stop, and a couple of cases of water, pop, and adult beverage, space will be eaten up fast.

we though about a rental, but it is nice not to drive around while on vacation. Just more relaxing to me.

Have a great trip:D :D :D
