We are getting ready to book 3 days at the Cheyenne in late March. Will we be able to swim? Will we even want to? Is there a nice hot tub? We have 2 very active boys who love a good splash.

Thanks

Hi there!

I don't believe the Cheyenne has a pool, sorry! I haven't stayed there myself so hopefully someone else will confirm this for you....

Of the onsite hotels, neither the Cheyenne nor the Santa Fe have pools, sorry.

But then there is so much to do at Disney that there isn't time to swim! We knew there wasn't a pool when we booked the Cheyenne but that didn't bother me in the slightest because we can swim at home - frankly, why swim when you can be on Big Thunder Mountain? :)

I have to agree with that - we were staying at the Newport Bay Club earlier this month - it has a lovely pool, and we had to walk past it on our way to and from our rooms. Still didn't have time to use it :goodvibes .

We've only used a hotel pool once at DLRP - at the Explorers. And that was because it was June, very light evenings, and the parks closed at 7pm. So we did have time, after dinner and before bed, to have a play in the pool there.

It was our third trip before any of us went near a pool (and normally you can't keep my family away from water :rotfl: ) so no, I don't think you'll miss a pool, especially not on your first trip.
