Curious if anyone has been during free dining in previous years.... did you receive a bounceback offer on property?
Reason I'm asking... we booked our flight for September in May. Price went down like 4 days later by $50 a ticket. 5 people, roundtrip, it gave us a $500 credit for southwest. The only problem is it has to be used within the next year (from date of purchase).
So I thought maybe we'd plan a January or February trip so I dont waste this airfare credit. But now I'm wondering... should I wait until September and see if there's a bounceback offer. I'd hate to book something and then book the flight and wish I didn't. What do you think?
ETA: Totally put this in the wrong place! If there's anyone here smarter than I (oh wait, that would be 99% of this DIS!)... could you pretty please tell me how I can move this to the right place? Should have been under resorts. Sorry!

....but then again there might not be an offer or it might be for something other than free dining.....it's anybody's guess
. But like the pp said, once free dining starts is when people will be reporting on whether or not there is a bounceback offer and what it's for
.
