We will be flying to Orlando Int'l on AirTran - will we be able to use ME?
After reading some other questions - I didn't realize there was a "list" of airlines that Disney was using?

Am I just confused or will we be ok to use me?

You will be able to use the DME service and you should be able to take advantage of the luggage delivery service. The only difference is that when you come back to the airport from Disney you WILL NOT be able to take advantage of the resort check in service as Air Tran is not a participating airline in that service.

The list referred to are the participating airlines in the resort check in service where you can check in your bags at the resort on your return to the airport and receive your boarding passes at the resort. The participating airlines are:

American, Continental, Delta, Song, Jet Blue, United, Ted and Magic Carpet.
(There may be one other that I am missing. I'm not sure.)

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! Everyone can use ME no matter which airline you arrive at MCO on! The participating list refers to those airlines that using "Resort Airline Check-in". That is where you check your bags and get your boarding passes at the resort and they take the bags from there, you never see your bag again until you arrive at your home airport. If you are not flying a participating airline, then you just take your luggage to the ME bus with you, it will be loaded underneath your bus and upon arriving at the airport you check-in and check your luggage as you would normally.

Disney really needs to clarify their terminology with Magical Express and Resort Airline Check-in, there's so much confusion about how it works!

Thank you very much for your help.

I will need to call Disney to have my name & flight info put on the ME list?!?!!

Yes, you'll need to call (or your travel agent could call for you) to reserve your spot on ME. (I don't have the number handy, but you should be able to do a search for it, and your TA should definitely have the number. Heck, you're paying for their service, have the TA call! :teeth: ) They'll send you luggage tags and some other information to use. I think this needs to be done about 21 days before your trip so they can get you your tags.

Magic Carpet? I'm not sure if this is a new airline I've never heard of or just a clever Aladdin reference. :flower:
