Just curious if anyone on the boards thinks WDW will extend the resort only discounts past 10/2? We are going 10/14 for 3nts and I have been holding off on booking our rooms at POP thinking the room only discount may be extended the way the free dining was a few weeks ago. It makes me nervous not having rooms reserved at this point but I do not want to go thru the hassle of having to rebook for a cheaper rate.

Even if they did, given your dates fall over Columbus week, I would expect your dates to be blacked out any way. JM2c.

No clue, but I'd book it anyway and then have them apply the discount late if one pops up.

I never thought about Columbus Day. I may go ahead and book and hope for little hassle to adjust if the rates drop.

Anything is possible, but it seems that they deliberately decided not to offer discounts during certain weeks this fall, and a good guess why would be because advance bookings indicated that they didn't need to offer discounts those weeks.

The PIN I am booked under (I think everyone was calling it the white rabbit pin back when many of us received it in Dec.) let me book beginning on Oct.11. But of course the two days before I can arrive( Sat./Sun.) over Columbus weekend were blacked out.

Unfortunately the new monster pin apparently has that entire time blacked out. But considering my pin code, I know that it is at least possible that they will offer your dates. Or possibly send out more pin codes? Who ever knows with Disney?! LOL
