Will TSS buy points to rent?

Does anyone know if the TimeShare Store will buy extra member points?
I have a few extra points that need to be used, I don't want to try and rent them myself.

David's vacation Club Rentals does. I think he's kinda choosey about what he takes though. Memory fuzzy, but I think he wants them in batches of 150 or more. Don't know about the TSS.

Yes I'm quite sure I've read that TTS will buy spare points - give them a call to see for sure. I don't know the pricing in comparison to David's site.

I'm on the TSS email list. This was included in today's email...

"We now have points available for rent or transfer at $12* a point. If you are interested in renting or need points transferred to your account please let us know via email. If you are a current member with points that you would like to rent out please contact us and we will be glad to assist.

If you want to rent points for a reservation we need the following information emailed to sales@dvcstore.com

1. Date Checking In
2. Date Checking out
3. Resort Desired
4. Size of room
5. Names for those staying in the room and ages of any children
6. Home address
7. Phone number
8. Use this link to see how many points your stay would require (http://www.wdwinfo.com/resort/dvcpoint.cfm)"

I don't think either companies buy the points, because the DVC owner must make the reservation for those points. That's part of all those renting rule changes that DVC made.

I am also interested to learn about the process.

Since TTS is our sponsor and we have one of their employees as member of the board, it would be nice if he could jump in the conversation and explain us procedures and prices, both for selling and buying/transfert.

Of course, only if this o.k. with the forum ....

"My bad" for using the word "buy"...as scot said...basically they will broker spare points for you - in a similar fashion to david's service I believe.
