Will this work, or too much food?

On our MK day, we have a 10:30 breakfast at CP, and a 5pm seating at GF for tea. Will it be too much if I schedule Wishes Dessert Party for that night? Wishes shows at 9pm. Should I try and schedule the GF tea seating earlier?

For me that would be too much. You would be spending your day eating and or trying to get there....just my opinion.

If it were me I would drop the tea at the GF and go with CP and Dessert party.

Good luck and have fun.

Do you have another day that you could do the tea?

If not, and if your heart is set on all 3 (which I can understand) then you might want to try to make CP earlier and the GF Tea a bit earlier, too. That way you would have more time in the park.

If you can't change times, I would probably drop one of them in the evening, because I think that by the time you get back to MK after the tea, you will be basically unable to do much before you have to arrive for the dessert party.

No matter what you decide, I'm sure you will have a fabulous time!!

When you get back, post a review of the Tea, I'd love to hear about it!

This is our second day at MK and the last day of our trip. I keep thinking I'll miss something if we don't do the dessert party. I just accepted an invitation to the Mickey Moms Club Illuminations party on 8/22, so maybe that'll be our "dessert party!"

No idea what the party is (obviously I wasn't invited :lmao:), but I also think it would be too much food. You are fine with the breakfast and tea or with breakfast and dessert party but I would personally not do both. Now some would and it depends what you want to do on your last day. For me the problem with the tea and dessert party is that they are too close together. As a previous poster pointed out, you will spend most of your day eating and waiting to be seated. You would need to leave MK before 4.30 at the very latest to check in for your tea. I would leave even earlier. Assuming you are seated pretty much immediately, you should give yourself at least an hour to 90 minutes to finish off with the tea and get back to MK. Then you have around 2 hours before the dessert party. The problem with this is that whatever you do, you will most likely want a snack or light meal by late afternoon. A snack would be fine if you are having the GF tea as your dinner, but if you still have the dessert party afterwards I doubt you would feel like eating. Don't feel pressurized into doing something just because it's there. It is an easy trap to fall into. Pick what it most important to you and stick with that.

I have not done the tea party, but the rest of my family has, and said they were stuffed after. I don't think it's a lot of food, but they did, and it was spread out over a few hours, so maybe it was partly how they ate. They did like it, and want to do it in December. I wanted to do a Candlelight meal that day, but they said no way. The desert party isn't a lot of food, but you want to get your moneys worth :rolleyes1. We did the desert party a few hours after eating at the Plaza. The tea party took them about 2 and a half hours, I would keep that in mind, I'm not sure if that's normal, but we are not slow eaters.

Yes the tea is very filling. When we did the tea we had breakfast @10 @ at buffett. The tea was for 330 and we did not eat later at all.

I am so jealous of you going to the Mickey Mom's Party. I got the email today and once again won't be there. :( Have a great time at it!
