Will this work or am I crazy?

Ok, hopefully I am posting this in the right place. DH and I arrive at MCO at 1:10pm. We have the fantasmic dinner package booked the same day for 4:45pm. Is it possible to catch ME, get to the resort (POP), check in, and get to HS in time for our ADR or should I cancel? I really want to see Fantasmic, as we were unable to go last time!

Is the ME going to have your luggage? WOuld you consider getiing a cab to save time?

I think you'll make it. You should count on 60-90 minutes from when your plane lands to check-in at your resort. If you don't have time to go to your room first (which I think you will) you can have Bell Services hold onto your carryon luggage and head straight out to the parks. I think you could safely count on being on the bus to HS by 3pm or so.

On the other hand, there is some element of risk, since the Fantasmic package is held with a credit card. If your plane is seriously delayed, you could possibly miss your ADR and be charged.

Thanks for the replies. I guess we will keep the reservation and hope we make it! Does anyone know how far in advance do I have to cancel if I don't want to be charged?

I believe you have to cancel 24 hours in advance. But I think you will be able to make it. Especially if you don't plan to handle your luggage. Just check in and go straight to the bus. I don't think you will have any problem. Have fun!

The package needs to be canceled 48 hours in advance or you will be charged $10 per person for a no show fee.

That being said as long as your plane arrives on time you should be able to make it. Figure 60-90 min to get to Pop on ME. Check in (maybe online check in will help speed the process), then take the bus to DHS. If it's getting close to 4:00 take a cab from Pop.
