Seriously I'm so excited! I can't wait! I think Pooh is a little cuter now then back then.

WOW! Great flashback pics! Very memorable of my first trip to Disney World ('88).

AND as for the fairy godmother's face... so glad they have one without a plastic mask now... that's just disturbing and scary!

wow, those old pics sure are showing how WDW has improved. The faces??? FGM is odd looking like that. I wonder when they changed her over to a "real" person rather than costume like that.

Thank goodness they changed her over from the creepy looking mask.

No, no coffee! I've never liked it! DBF wakes up earlier than I do for work, and so I usually wake up then anyways to get some Dis in before I then go to work!

Ugh! So early. I have such a hard time trying to get up in the morning.

I saw that Fairy Godmother too and was really freaked out - even by just an old picture.

Do you think they were dancing Thriller in that one photo?

I am not sure about the Main St location, but that looks like it might have been a shop that makes those silhouettes? I don't remember if there is still a shop for that - don't remember seeing one last year. But maybe if you or someone else has an older park map, you can figure it out?

I think it was more Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf or something like that. I'll have to check it out if the portrait place is still there when I'm there next weekend!

I'm freaking out! I keep thinking one week from today at this time I'll be getting out of work and heading to the airport to take my flight to MCO and meet up with Ann and Zoe.

After work today I'm going to slowly wander my way out to Worcester (mid-MA) for the night and tomorrow I'm going out to Springfield (Western MA) to clue my cousin in where we are going in a few short weeks!

Its just strange because when I saw the photos from 1986 I had no memory of the trip. The only thing I really remember from going to DW on my first trip is going on Dumbo because we were looking for my aunt, uncle, and cousin and I figured Dumbo would let us see more area. But they were in the submarine. Go figure!

FYI, UT app that has that Friends thing was only the Iphone, I have the free version of the UT app on my andriod and it didn't have it. But I have internet on my phone which means we can DIS! If my phone's battery doesn't die again..... Note to self, drop by Verizon and get a spare battery.

I combined the videos and photos and made it all pretty, at least as pretty as Windows Movie Maker can make it.

She really had no idea where we were going! The butterfly she took as us flying. I don't think she got the Mardi Gras beads. The green army men immediately went to Toy Story and then to the fact she likes men in uniform. The pirate ziploc with gold went to a cruise in the Carribbean. But never Disney!

I wouldn't be myself without having a few more surprises up my sleeves. I gave her our old hotel information, so she thinks we're staying at POFQ instead of AKL and BLT. And there are a few more little surprises along the way. The first thing she asked for was seeing Cinderella's Castle. I'm now happy I booked us a breakfast in there. But of course once the hours get changed in January, I'll probably change our schedule around again!
