Will This PTR Be A Jinx? A 2nd bday "do-over" trip. Dec '12 *Update 12/7*

I'm curious to know how you dealt with the unused days on your passes after you cut your trip short...did you add the no-expiration option?

Oh well the morning we were leaving, DH went to the front desk and the manager knew what was going on (we stayed at POFQ) so they offered him two 3 day passes for the equivalent of what we had left on the tix we had that wouldn't expire for 10 years. So really Disney took care of us. They also refunded us the money for the nights we wound up not staying there. They really came through for us.

Yay glad you came over! I love that app!!! I just added it to my iPhone. It's SO much better than the last app. Can you turn siggies on on the app? If so, I need to figure out how because as you said, I rely on them a lot.

You can turn them on! Go to "More", then "Settings", then "Forum Reading Options". You should be able to turn it on there.

We don't have a specific date in mind yet. But, I've told DH we HAVE to go back before we have to pay for DD's ticket, haha! Need to have another free trip in there for her!

We'll probably go back to Ft. Wilderness next time (since we just got a new (to us) camper, again, this past weekend). Maybe next fall? Maybe Spring for 2014? Hard to say at this point. A lot of it will depend of DH's job. He should have is CPA by the end of the year (and with that substantial pay increase) so that will open some vacation planning doors!

Yes I hear you. We want to go as many times as possible before we have to pay for Alex too. It's expensive enough as it is! Next December Alex will be 2 for all intensive purposes I'm not paying for him since he will have JUST turned 3 or probably turning 3 there.

Oh that sounds nice! Yay for a pay increase!

to the DIS and to my PTR! Thanks for coming on! Yes Disney has always been wonderful to us which is what keeps me going back. And yeah that trip wasn't great but I'm hoping to make up for it this go round.

Hehe every little boy needs Toy Story sneakers. And they light up too! The sole is shaped a little funny so Alex wasn't too sure of them tonight when I put them on him but he quickly adjusted so I think they'll be ok. They light up too!

Happy 4th of July folks!!!! I hope everyone has a great and safe day! What do you all have planned for the day? DH works nights so he's currently sleeping while Alex and I play. MIL will be coming over after dinner and we will shoot off our own fire works in the back yard. We did that last year too in the rain and it was still fun. Alex loved it and this year will be even better I think. We got him some poppers and I think he will really have fun with those
