Will this HS / EP plan work?

Hi all, I don't usually make major plans beyond grabbing a few Fps and ADRs and winging everything.
I'm not a park commando.
BUT
In June I have a tuesday with the following plan.
60 day Fps in HS, I know I can get three, I mostly want to ride Mickey and Minnie's new ride, and Toy Story Mania. I have no interest in the fight for GE rides, so I'll see what's possible.
I have a 12 noon ADR at Oga's, I am looking forward to trying that.
After that, and some sight seeing, I plan to hop on the skyliner, and hit Epcot (I have park hoppers, and Epcot has evening EMH) I am HOPING either during lunch cocktails or on the way over to Epcot, to grab an Epcot FP (Soarin may be too big of an ask, but...)
I have never needed the additional in park FP option. Is it possible to get additional Fps is a different park from your nominated day park? How likely am I to be able to get additional Epcot Fps (I am a solo traveller)?
Any tips? OH, I have a 6pm San Angel Inn ADR too.

Very doable! You might need to “Rope drop” Mickey’s Runaway Railroad but everything else will be easy. I picked up afternoon FP for Soarin on 2 separate days last March during spring break for a group of 3. One was while on the ferry, leaving MK to head to Epcot. With park hopper, doesn’t matter your physical location when trying to grab additional FP in a separate park.

Thank you! That's helpful. I am just one person, so I hope that will increase odds of additional FP. I am not sure how busy Early / Mid June is, but we usually go in December, so...

The only thing is.... no one knows yet what FP+ is going to be like for June. With the opening of Rise, things are literally changing daily.
And with Mickey's Runaway opening in March..... everything I am sure will change.
Hours and FP+ tiers I expect will change.... probably multiple times in the next year.

I am going in March and plan a HS and Epcot day, but for now, no ADRs because who knows if/when I can get FP+ or boarding group or what times.
I am simply planning to hop back and forth between the 2 as needed and end the day with either Fantasmic or Epcot Forever, which ever works out best.

Normally I'd say you'd be fine getting additional FP+ at Epcot, but.... quite honestly.... too many variables at this time.
Wait for your FP+ day and then figure it all out.

Yep, FP day is in April, so, we'll see then. But, fingers crossed!

In EPCOT, most of the rides have FPs available later in the day.
Agree that you will probably want to RD HS for the new ride.
The crowd at RD will most likely be split between the new Mickey ride and RoTR.
Nobody knows if the new ride will open with FP or not. That could certainly change your plans.

Indeed. Thank you.

You are just going to have to pay attention to FP changes at HS. I am guessing the tiers of FPs will change before your FP day. I'm guessing the new Mickey ride and Smugglers Run will have FPs by then, but i have no guess or which tiers rides are going to be in.

Yes, I have my fingers crossed, the tier thing is complicated! I shall be booking on 9th April. I hope it'll be clearer by then.

As soon as you tap your magicband at FP #3 in HS then get on the app while waiting in line and grab your FP #4 in Epcot. You do not not need to wait for lunch, etc. If there isn't a 3rd FP you need in HS, just pick whatever is closest to FP #2 and tap into #3 and dump it.

Thanks for the tip, getting extra FP is new to me so this is the advice I need!
