*I* did not want to do this, I did this for DH. Who left the house at 7:30, and it is now 9:20 and he just got on a bus from the park & ride to get to work. His normal bus never showed up, so he took a different bus to get to the P&R, and after waiting almost an hour, the other bus finally came. And tonight it is going to be even colder, and it is supposed to snow all day.

DH made it to work. Went outside to measure, and it's at 3.5" and growing

We dont get much snow. Lots of rain but no snow. Maybe one year we'll travel somewhere it snows for Christmas. It did snow on Christmas here last year. Im sure it wont ever do that again.

I grew up in Bellingham, WA, so I know what type of weather you get. I mostly complain about the cold and the icy conditions. If there was some way to have the white stuff and 70 degrees, I would be happy. It's very pretty. Such as it is, it is still better than 5 months of constant drizzly wetness that isn't enough to qualify as rain, just makes everything mossy.

Having never experienced snow in my life, I do have to say it is pretty. But I am cold just looking at it!

Seriously, yesterday when I left in the morning for school, it was 43 degrees!!! That's too cold for FL. Some more northern counties had it in the 20s.

I would like Orlando too. Except for Christmas. Spent one Christmas in Tampa and that was enough for me. I miss the white stuff for the holidays. Having a swimming party instead of a sledding party is just wrong.

Growing up in Miami, Christmas to me is christmas lights wrapped around palm trees, and cards of Santa in bermuda shorts and snowmen made out of sand! Instead of drinking hot cocoa in front of the fireplace, I drink mojitos in front of the beach. That's Christmas to a SoFlo girl.

That's BEAUTIFUL!!!! I've seen sn*w all of like 3 times in Texas- that's over my entire life, I'm a native Texan. But it's pretty chilly for us today- 50. It was near freezing this morning.
