Will this be it for Oct-Dec discount rates (or lack thereof)?!?

I am exetremely upset by the lack of availability with the BAT code! I have a week trip planned for end of nov. - early dec. and was trying to get into BCR, but the BAT rate isn't available there for my time. trying to be flexible, I asked about YC or BW, and no luck there either. so I ask where is it available at any deluxe, and get GF concerige-right! I then tried to use the AP discount and had the exact same luck!

My issue is (after being on hold for 45 minutes) was why adverrtise that the rates are for a given time at given places if you can't get them! It can't really be the case that all the rooms alloted to rate were taken in less than an hour can it?

My other concern is will this now be it for discounted rates for this time period - does anyone remember WDW ever issuing an discount open to everyone and then later issuing a new open discount for the same time period? or will disney say we gave an open discounted rate for these months, but as always, they are subject to availability!

I say call back, get another rep and see where it gets you. More than once some have been told there is nothing available only to see someone else post and get the exact same thing. You dont mention who is going but it might be worth it to buy an AP, childs is cheaper but if you only have adults go with that. With the room savings and you admission also you might come out cheaper.

The bottom line is most of the dates are pretty booked up now, I would not expect new discount codes. There's already been 3 - the email/postcard code, AP rates, BAT code.

I know people don't like packages, but the basic Dreammaker package (room and UPH) seems to have wide availability. We saved over $600 on our Nov. trip to the Contemporary.
