Will they ticket tag my DD's previously purchased Annual Pass?

I purchased an AP for my DD back in October 2004. Since she's only 6 years old, she wasn't "ticket tagged" (linked to her ticket via biometric "finger imaging"). However, I have heard that with the new MYW ticketing system, they will soon be "ticket tagging" children as well as adults.

Does anyone know if that is true? If it is, will my DD be asked to provide her finger image when we visit in May of 2005, or will we not have to worry about it until we renew her AP in October 2005?

We went in Dec. 04 and purchased APs. My dd (who's 9) didn't get ticket tagged. So I would say, probably not.

On another note.... my dd just turned 10. Should we exchange her AP in for an adult one? Do they do this for free or is there a charge?

You're good to go until renewal.

I'm pretty sure they are only doing the biometric scan for adult tickets, kids don't have to do it at all. -Steph

If your child turns 10 during the year they have an AP, you do not need to exchange it. It will continue to be good for the whole year. We bought an AP for my daughter when she was 9 and she used it with no problem when we went back just under a year later when she was 10.
