Will they take it back

i just bought Harvest Moon DS at game stop and am taking it back. It freezes every 10 minutes. So will they give me a refund

I'm sure their rules are the same as Wal-mart and Best Buy, etc. Since you have opened it, you must exchanged it for the same game. Of course, I have done this 3 times, and when the 3rd game still didn't work, they finally gave me the choice of another game or store credit.

i have the recipt i think , and i just read online that the crashing hapens to other ppl.

They should if you have the receipt.
We had a Wii with a semi-rare error and they exchanged no problem. We had the receipt though.
