Will they seat us early at Character breakfasts?

We have 3 character breakfasts scheduled. I'm a bit worried about our 8:20 reservation at the Crystal Palace. The breakfast will get us into the park before it opens (no Extra Magic Hours that day), but I'm worried that we won't be out of there fast enough to get a good start at Fantasyland. My kids will love the characters, but they are slooooow eaters. If we show up 10-20 minutes early, is it likely they could get us seated earlier? I'm not sure how these things work. Do I need to worry about being seated late?

FWIW- We also have 8:15 reservations at Vine & Dine and Akersus, but I guess I'm not as concerned about HS and Epcot.

It is always a good idea to arrive early. They will seat you early if you are there beforehand. One thing to remember is the Crystal Palace first seating I think is 8:15 am (I was told that last year when I made my reservation there) but it may have changed. You can always call and check.

Thanks! I obviously had no idea that the first seating was so close to our reservation. For some reason I thought it opened at 8:00 am.

We have a rezzie there for 8:10 so I'm guessing it does open at 8. I can't find this but I believe that they allow you to enter park 15 mins before reservation. If you hightail it over to crystal palace, you can likely get sat as soon as you arrive.

I had a 8:40am reservation at CP, but checked in early and was seated at 8:10am. Granted it was only me. Maybe it depends on your party size but there were still lots of empty tables when I left around 9am.

They used to recommend that you arrive 15 min. prior to your reservation. I'm not sure if they still advise this. We've always arrived early to our reservations, and are typically seated before our reservation time. For breakfast, we've always been seated before our time. When we were last at Crystal Palace, our reservation time was 8:15. We showed up at 7:55, and we were seated within 5 minutes.

You can't count on being seated early, but if you are there, it doesn't hurt to ask! We have been seated early for ADRs before, but I have heard of people being told to wait and come back later.

The Crystal Palace is tricky. They run behind most of the time. More often than not we are seated there quite a bit past our scheduled ADR time. Again, it doesn't hurt to ask, you never know!:)
