Will they release a point chart for Hong Kong Disneyland?

I always wanted to to go to Hong Kong and it would be great to stay there on points. The hotels are allready taking reservations for Sep 05! Has anyone heard if this will be part of the Disney Collection like Paris is?

It doesn't seem likely that it will happen.

We cannot use points for Tokyo DisneySea either. I had read that the primary reason was that the Oriental Land Company (primary owner of TDS and Hong Kong Disneyland) is not interested in working anything out with DVC.

Financially, you're better off renting your points and paying cash for those non-DVC options anyway.

If you are going to HK Disney, I would recommend staying off-site. Preferably, in the city of HK. HK Disney is actually going to be on Lantau Island, which is a very small island next the island of Hong Kong. It will be very tiring and tedious to come and go if you are staying at Disney and want to experience HK itself.

If anyone going down to WDW in the recent fut, there are 500 employees training for the Hong Kong resort. I spoke to one about the contract they signed, where they are staying etc. Anyway, and this was my point, the lady gave us a small brochure with a picture of the resort etc.

It was great, my son had to do a travel journal for school and we were able to include this. If anyone is interested, I could probably get hubby to scan it (I just don't know how to do that kind of stuff!!)
