We want to try some new restaurants on our upcoming trip and my dh would love to eat dinner at the San Angel Inn. Mexican food, however, doesn't love me, but the kids' menu has a couple of things I could eat w/out problems. If dh orders a grown-up meal (LOL), can ds and I order from the kiddoes' menu? Or is this considered bad form?

TIA!!

With regard to ordering from Childrens menu - GO AHEAD.

The waiters do not like it but we have done so a number of times in the past and have always been accomodated by the restaurant.

WE do adjust the tip up accordingly and NOW we let the waiter know that ahead of the order being placed. Takes care of most problems.

Glad I was helpful! ;)

That's what's so great about these boards -- eventually someone asks something someone else wants to know! ::yes::
