Can kids order off the adult menu? Please let me know if you have been able to do so. If so, was anybody given a hard time?
Thank you

Anyone can order off any menu. Children can order off the adults menu, and if they want, adults can order off the childrens menu.

Absolutely!! Children can order whatever they want. No problem AT ALL!

They will allow a 3 year old to order off the adult menu....or a 33 year old off the kid's menu. ANyone can order anything they want, except that the drinking age for alcohol is 21.

Or you can order off both.

LOL! This would be me!

<---should of searched for this thread before asking the same question. Duh!

We confirmed my suspicion last cruise. If the rotation menus are in use, and you want something from one of the other menus, it can be had. The kitchens for Lumieres/Tritons and PC connect, and AP isn't too much of a haul. We asked our head server because 2 cruises ago, DW got mal de mer duirng Triton's dinner, and so left before dessert, and had been looking forward to the grand marnier souffle. I told her to ask for one on another night later that cruise, since they were being made for the other guests. she was too shy. so last cruise we asked our fabulous Head Server, Aleksandra, if that would have been possible and she yes, it would really not have been a big deal and that we should not have hesitated to just ask.

And great photo above of a DISer grownup eating a mickey bar on formal night. I love mickey bars, too.

On one cruise the first night our head server asked me what he could do to make our cruise special. I told him I want tiramasu from Palo every night for dessert, I was just kidding. But, I got it every night, he would go to Palo and get 2 servings for me. By the time the cruise ended I was so sick of that dessert.
So becareful of what you ask..

Replace the lobster with shrimp coctail and that would be my son.

(At Triton's on our last cruise - I'd like my steak well done. Mozarella sticks for an appetizer and mickey shaped pasta as my side please)

We went without my DD last time. I like some of the kids menu items. By night two our waiter would bring me both menus. We had the whole table ordering this way by the end of our four nights.

on our last cruise everyone at our table ordered the fried cheese sticks off the kids menu for an appetizer...our servers thought we were crazy but they brought us out 2 huge baskets of them for us to share...they were sooo good!
