Hi ,

I am planning on ordering a bithday cake for my Daughter at 1900Park Fare for breakfast , we are then planning to hire a boet and spend time in the pool .

My question is - would the staff mind keeping the cake for me in their fridges until we are ready to leave for home in the afternoon ?

Thank you

Sam :)

The restaurant probably no. Once food has been brought out of a kitchen and partially eaten it can't go back.

You may he able to take it to Bell Services and they may be able to keep it cold.

There have been reports here on the DIS in the past that restaurant kitchens will NOT do this. It is health laws. The suggestion to ask Bell Services is a good one.

The issues that were brought up before are a little different, but the laws still apply.

The one issue from a while back was that someone brought in a Disney cake to Chef Mickeys and asked that it be put in the kitchen to hide it from the birthday girl. They flat out refused because the cake did not come from their kitchen. In the end CR Bell Services did take the cake.

In your case 1990 Park fare is providing the cake but now its been served and is now left overs.

As a restaurant they have certain health codes to follow, Bell Services, which has a cooler doesn't have to follow the same codes.

I agree with the suggestion to ask Bell Services. The Beach Club stored cheese for me once.

CRT kept our cake while we went around the park for a while after our meal. We picked it up right before Wishes.
