Will they still have Early Entry when the park opens at 8? Will early entry be 7? So mainstreet is open to everyone at 6? I can't remember how this EE works. Thanks. I'm going in March so the hours just came up 8-12 everyday I'm there.

Yes, there will be EE at 7 am when official park opening at 8. No, they will not open Main Street at 6. They will only do that when official park opening is after 9 am.

Thanks..I guess my family won't be sleeping much with park closing at 12 and us having to be there by 7 for EE.

Those long days are one reason it's good they don't have EE every day of the week! :)

I was wondering the same thing... And thinking WOW 7AM is Early but having to get up at 5:30 is even more early haha... Yes there will for sure be a nap for us that day..

whats this about main street opening early? ive never heard that. so for a 10am opening would main street be open for 9am?

On non EE days, the main gate will open about 1/2 hour earlier and Mainstreet will be open. Rope drop is at the end of Mainstreet.

Yes you will want to be up dressed and at the park by 6ish to get a decent spot in line at the front gates which open at 7 for you. Its best to be there about 45 minutes to an hour early so your not having to try and beat the big rush infront of you to Fantasyland or Nemo.

Are you serious? Or are you pulling our legs...you know it's been so long since there was something I wanted to really go on that I had to be there early. I don't remember how early we were there for EE...but if you say 45 min. before...I guess we'll be there.

Naps..yes, that's why we stay right across the street from Disneyland...go back nap and back to the parks for the night time action. My family hates waking up early even with those built in naps..but hey that's what avoiding the crowds means.

Assuming that since the park opens at 8, it will be crowded. Adding on an EE day means that you probably will want to get there at the latest 6:30 (though I recommend getting there earlier as well).

I know it sounds totally insane doesnt it? Last time I was there for EE I recall getting up at 5:30 to wash and dress and head out the door by 6am to wait in a lineup for an hour :rotfl2: But over all it was well worth it :thumbsup2

Here's a post that will solve all problems:

8AM opening (normal day)- entire park opens at 8

8AM opening (EE day)- FL and select TL rides open at 7AM for EE guests. Entire park opens at 8 for EE and non-EE guests.

10AM opening (normal day)- Main Street (only) opens at 9:30 for all guests. Entire park opens at 10.
10AM opening (EE day)- FL and select TL rides open at 9AM for EE guests. Main Street opens at 9:30 for non-EE guests. Entire park opens at 10 for EE and non-EE guests.

For 9AM openings, I have heard different things. If the crowds warrant it, they may (though not always) open up Main Street at 8:30 so not as many people are in the esplanade.
