My husband and I had plans to try and get a reservation for Victoria and Albert's Chef table during an upcoming trip. We just found out that my sister, who was going to watch our daughter during our special dinner, can no longer go on the trip. We will be staying at the GF. Will they deliver V&A to our room?

Note: Due to my daughters age and personality we don't think she would do well with a stranger watching her.

Rather than having any of us guess, the best thing to do would be to contact V&A directly at 407-939-3862 and ask them.

I have never heard of them doing that. I would be very surprised. Much of the value is the actual experience in addition to the food. Plus it is many smaller courses.

I believe those under 18 can eat at the Chef's Table as it is removed from the main dining areas. But call and confirm this is still the case.

I can't believe they'd do that. Why would they? The kids' care is very good and she would be the first child they've dealt with who might not initially want to be there. Sounds like you have a choice to make.

V&A's age policy is strictly everyone must be at least 10 years old to dine. It sounds like the OP has a daughter younger than that, or that OP thinks her daughter wouldn't appreciate the food at V&A.

Either way, thinking more about this, why would you want to have the Chef's Table dinner delivered to your room? The allure of being at a chef's table is that you get to watch the organized chaos of the kitchen.

They are not staffed for Private Dining with room delivery.

While there IS private dining at GF, even it is not "delivered to room." If you want food delivered to your room at GF, you get the room service menu, which is prepped and delivered out of the GF Cafe kitchens.
