Last day: flight home at 12:30pm
Staying at the Poly and have a breakfast ADR at Kona at 8:05am

Is this cutting it too close for our ride on MDE?

I would tell the server you are somewhat pressed for time & have him/her bring the check as soon as you are served. That being said, if your luggage is ready to go (RAC?) and you have your carry ons with you, you should be fine.

Would also suggest taking an Uber/Taxi there and back. We have a 9:25 ADR at 1900 PF from POFQ.
MDE will pick us up at 12:30. I am worried about time so don't plan on using Disney transportation. To answer your question - Yes, you are cutting it really close.

Since you are staying at Poly, I think you will be fine. Agree with PP though~get the check when food is delivered.

OP is staying at the Poly so 90 minutes for breakfast then walk to DME pickup should not be cutting it really close. You have to get to the GF and back to your resort, totally different.

Thanks for the advice everybody! I'll keep the ADR, check the bags before breakfast and just get the check when the food comes.

Hmmmm macadamia nut pancakes, I am salivating!!!

We had an 8am Kona reservation and a 9:50 ME pickup for a 1:00 flight. We checked the luggage after breakfast and still had a little bit of time to spare. You should be fine. I think it's a good idea to do your bags before breakfast.

Oh thank you so much for the warning! I didn't realize that. We are flying Jet Blue and I believe that area is part of the construction. Maybe we'll just do Captain Cooks and try to fit Kona in another day. I want those pancakes!

Ok, overlooked that part, but she is still cutting it close. The assumption is they will actually be seated at 8:05. No room for error in this scenario.

JetBlue is definitely one affected. There are reports with even 4 hours people are barely making it. I would not risk it. (I'm also flying JetBlue and very anxious about timing!)
