Will there be NO AP discount for summer?

First time AP holder so I have never really followed AP discounts but I was under the impression there is usually some room/package discount during most of the year. Starting to wonder about summer as I am almost 45 days away from my date. Almost time to pay! We are going regardless but I was hoping to upgrade our resort if a discount was released. So, any educated guesses? Will there be a summer discount for AP holders?

I feel for you. I am anxiously waiting too. When are you going? Luckily, I still have a little time as we are not going until july/aug. But I would really like to know what the AP dicount will be and dates so that I can decide If I should just go with summer dicount or Bounceback when I am there in May.
I hate not knowing while trying to save/plan.

I find MouseSavers the best place to see the history of past discount offers. It's a great list!!

I'm also a first-time AP and am also waiting for room discounts. Historically, it looks like it's early yet to see summer discounts. Hopefully soon!

I'm looking for something mid-August and it appears those don't historically come out until June or even July.

So If I book a summer discount and Bouceback now, could I apply the AP dicount when It comes out (assuming it will be cheaper)? I will be doing a room only and with my dates it will need to be a split stay because the bounce back doesn't cover the first part of my vacation. I am hoping the AP covers the whole time.

Yes, if AP comes out you can apply it. But be certain it's better. Last summer we booked AKL on a Bounceback I think. Then when AP discount I asked them to give me a quote, before applying. It was more!!! Turns out the stupid AP discount didn't include weekends they were rack rate!!!!

Looking back historically there is a June to Aug AP Room only rate that started in March/April but in 2012 it didn't start until May 9th, so I bet its coming..

With FD for the late summer/early fall being behind as well it doesn't surprise me that the AP rates aren't out yet. Don't loose hope tho!
