Will there be any good offsite deals due to Disney's 4/3?

Do you think any offsite hotels/condos will lower their prices or create some deals to compete with Disney's 4/3 offer? I am looking for 3 nights in June offsite to add to my Disney trip. I know it is early for me, but maybe some Jan. /Feb. offers will come out for others.
I am paying about $122 (includes tax) for a moderate at Disney with the package. The off site hotels are going to have to come up with something better than that.

Maybe, but maybe not. The booking window for this promotion closes on 12/20. The impact for June stays may not be that bad, because most casual visitors do not plan that far in advance---they won't be looking for June until March or April, or even later.

I have to believe that most of the offsite places are worried about January and early February though.

I priced out 10 days at the Fort Wilderness Cabins vs. My offsite at Bonnet Creek rental. I will be getting 2 to 3 times the square footage at bonnet creek and still be saving over $1000. And that is taking into consideration the $200 gift card. Even if I had not already been booked offsite, I would still go forward with the off site rental.

think March will be the big one.

this is the first time - in a long time - that disney has offered a great discount for March.

going in March!

I just compare-priced our trip also, and with our owner at Windsor Hills that we booked with, we still saved over $1,500 over that 4/3 deal, plus all the extra bedrooms, kitchen, etc that we'll get at Windsor Hills... I agree, we'll stay where we are at too!

Last week I saw a Marriott deal for buy three nights get one free at selected hotels in Orlando. (can't find it now so it may have expired) IMHO it would have been a better deal.

I've been looking at prices that one of our consolidators offers, and there are some hot deals for January - March, 2009.
Especially for condos in the area. I don't remember seeing these rates a couple weeks ago.

So yes I think there is a bit of competition going on in the Orlando area right now.
