Will there be a lot of cancellations for credit card reserved reservations?

We are traveling 8/23-8/29. Do you think there will be an influx of cancellations as we get closer to my arrival date? I am hoping people are holding reservations until they have their itineraries complete then they will cancel them. Would love some opinions.

I am hoping for the same thing! We will be there 8/25-9/1 and still hoping for an ohana 8/26! I personally am holding onto 2 ressies that I will be cancelling if my plans change so I know I will atleast cancel one if not both about a week out. Hoping many others are in the same situation !!!

I scored an ADR at Le Cellier around the 45d mark but have had no luck for Sci Fi. Go figure! I keep trying!

I do think people will firm up their plans and drop some ADRs. We're arriving 8/25 and I need to cut at least 1 ADR for or drop a signature meal because I'm over on our ADRs if we only use our DDP credits. I might actually cancel a Le Cellier lunch ADR and keep our Narcosees dinner on the last night but I'm still trying to decide what to do.

I think people drop ADR's as they firm up their plans. I have gotten an ADR that was impossible two days prior to leaving for Disney so it happens.

I know that we have several character breakfast ADR's but have been rethinking them. WE felt it was better to make the ADR's and as we tightened up our plan release them if they do not seem to work.

Things open up all the time. I just started messing with my plans and am now prob cancelling a TH 8:15am ADR I spent forever trying to get a few short weeks ago.
