Will there be a Christmas Tree Swap for 2008?

Gee, I did an advanced 'search' on this board and it looks as if WDWStar has not posted anywhere for quite a while.

It looks like mid-May was the last post.

If everyone wants to have another year of "Share a little Magic, Christmas Tree sharing", I will start the 6th annual share alittle magic thread July 10th.
please post onto that thread your conf. dates & resort.

We will spend our first Christmas at SSR this year and will look for the thread starting on July 10th.

Quick question, what gets passed along? Is it a tree plus ornaments or does everyone bring their own decorations for it?

What does the last person do with the tree?

Thanks again wdwstar ! I will look for the post on the 10th. By the way, last year the tree in the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge was almost as nice as the tree in my room.

A DVC family donates a tree to be shared with other DVC families at one of the resorts. The tree will be shipped or brought down to the resort for the first family on that resort list to use. This will be a tree and ornaments as well as some may include lights/decorations for the balconies. Each family will donate $2 to $3 to help with the shipping to and from the resort. The last family on the list will ship the tree back to the family who donated the tree.

We are going to be spending our first Xmas away from home and our two sons 11& 12 are concerned about the tree thing so we would love to take part in this.

We will be at BWV from Dec. 21-Dec. 26th.

We took part in the Chair Swap a few weeks ago in Vero Beach and it was wonderful.

Hoping to be part of this one too!!
