Will the kids still be cute after 6 days of 24/7? Updated -- Post 426, P 29

Molly, I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year. And thank you so much for my gift. When I used it...I toasted you. That was so very sweet of you.

Yay, you got my card! Well, I couldn't very well send you an actual latte so I went with the next best thing. Though I did contemplate sending you a Stitch stuffed animal but I refrained so that you would still love me...

I thought I was cracking up when I started reading your comments. I knew I had just responded to Mary and I was wondering how the heck I ended up on my TR. But we'll do as you said...just pretend you are over there. ;)

Oh lordy, let's hope that Marv doesn't stop by and make a comment here...popcorn::

Seriously though, I could've sworn that I was on your TR and when I went to scroll down it during my reply, I realized my mistake! So you're not the crazy one my dear, that would be me.:goodvibes

I can't believe how fast this trip has come up. I'm just eeling a little bad leaving Mark...he seems a little sad that I'm going. But he and Andy keep saying they will have a guys weekend...toilet seats up, dishes piled in the sink, etc. Heaven help me when I get home.

Aw, a guys weekend sounds like the perfect remedy to your being gone. Toilet seats up and all!:thumbsup2 You should make them use paper plates while you're gone too.

Mary, I swear, I could look at pics of your girls all day! They are so gosh darn CUTE!!! :cutie:

And your DSLR takes great pics! I was really hoping to get one for Christmas but that didn't happen! LOL What kind of camera do you use, if you don't mind me asking?

:cool1::banana::cool1::banana:

Mary you're girls are sooooo adorable!!

Your day in Epcot sounds fabulous! Of course, slushies make it just a tad bit more fabulous!

Slushies make things a LOT more fabulous. ;)

I've been doing good with my wheels, only ran over people that deserved it! :lmao:

Glad you aren't running over too many toes.

Joining in!!! I'll be down that way during the same time! I love Disney in January!!! Really enjoying your PTR so far!

Hey Kat, I'm sure I'm a complete cold weather wus compared to you, but this week...highs in the 50's!!! We go from nice and warm perfect around 80 for a week to this. UG!!! Ya never know what florida weather will bring you in January!! Best bet is to plan for warm and for cold, and hope for something in between!! Best part is, not much rain in this month. So that's a good thing, cause cold and wet is not fun!!! I got a few busy weekends coming up, so that should help me pass the time by before ya'll come!! :)

It is FREEZING here today. It's about 16 degrees now, with a windchill of about 5 above. We can't really complain as it is really the first brutal day we've had thus far this season.

No rain would be a good thing.

I really enjoyed my latte. Even though I don't like Stitch, I would have loved it coming from you (don't tell Marv!).

I don't think we have to worry aboaut Marv. He's not been around, and I just 10 minutes ago finished my TR in full, and he still hasn't finished his...and his trip was a year ago! So he can't really say much.

Seriously though, I could've sworn that I was on your TR and when I went to scroll down it during my reply, I realized my mistake! So you're not the crazy one my dear, that would be me.:goodvibes

Hey, it could have been me...I've done things like that before.

Aw, a guys weekend sounds like the perfect remedy to your being gone. Toilet seats up and all!:thumbsup2 You should make them use paper plates while you're gone too.

They do know I will strangle one or both if they don't have those seats down when I get home!

Just wanted to say hi, Ali. I'll let Mary answer your question since I have no idea. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Ah thanks, I was going to take some of Cayley earlier when she was throwing a fit about cleaning her room (can you say Hoarders LOL) I finally offrered her $1 and filled up half a trash bag :rolleyes1

I have a Nikon D40 which I bought at Costco. Got a kit with 2 lenses. Hubby bought me the super cool 18-250 lens for my bday last year. I use about 95% on auto. I take a zillon pics and get lucky once in awhile. Kathy tells me I will be the offical photographer on this trip-whoo hoo. I am getting inspiration on what to shoot on MEK's reports. Now if my pics could be a tenth as good as hers...

Thanks so much!!

Well she's the cutest hoarder ever! Enjoy that $1 bribe now...in 10 years, it won't work so well!

They came out GREAT! I was hoping to be able to afford one befor our July trip but it looks like it won't happen. Maybe for our 2013 trip...

Mary, as always, the girls look so darn cute in the pictures you posted. Remember those precious moments because they grow up so very fast. Believe me I know....mine is not supposed to be grown up and married.

I think ya'll's plans for Epcot sound good. Kathy, I vote for doing the pick-a-pearl. I've done it three years in a row and it's really not that expensive. I have three pendants (Lacey wore one of them in her wedding.) and each time I have spent about $50.00 which I didn't think was too bad.

The plans look great, Kathy. I wish we would have been able to do PAP... but there were so many people in Japan that day it was too hard to move let alone pick a pearl. Do know that China also has fans..and I believe they are less expensive. At least they did in 2010. We completely missed China this last trip. Can you believe that?

And Mary... OMG! Your girls are just tooo tooo cute for words. :goodvibes

Great plans for Epcot, my favorite park! :cool1: You don't even really need a plan for Epcot, you can just do whatever there, since everything is so much fun! :woohoo:

Responses soon, but here is an update on Markie:

WE are NOT happy campers. After 1-1/2 hours waiting to see the doctor, we still do not know anything. They did NOT do the MRI. They want to do an MRI and some sort of Angiogram (carotid angiogram???) and that is scheduled for 7 a.m. on January 11. Then he goes back to the neurologist on February 21. I am NOT happy about this at all. They will, however, call him with results.

My guess is that the new doctor wanted to evaluate him -- question him, look at results from other doctor. But why they couldn't do the MRI and have it for his appointment is beyond me.

They better get working on this or they will be dealing with me.

So sorry that they didn't do the MRI. I do find it odd that they wouldn't go ahead and do it. Then the results would be back quicker and the new doctor could decide "what next". :guilty: I know my dad had an angiogram (spelling?), but I don't really remember much about it. I hope they can sort everything out quickly. Prayers are being sent out.

I am sorry the news in Markie was not better. Sometimes it feels like Dr's do things in very wierd ways. I hope the next tests give him some answers.

Ms Cayley went to Urgent Care last night since her cough was getting worse even on antibiotics. Dr did a chest xray which seemed "iffy" he heard some "stuff" in her lungs. She also has an ear infection and tonsilitus. Is still sleeping this am which is very unlike her. Glad it is now and not three weeks from now...

Will put up some pics from our Dec 2010 trip later

I know, right? Why couldn't they have the MRI done (they knew it was going to be done anyway) before the appointment with the neurologist and then he'd have the results. He could have had the MRi any time over the last three weeks????

I hope my angel is feeling better when she wakes up. I'm glad it is now and not three weeks from now too. Now, keep Avery from getting it.

Sorry to hear how Markie was treated... it just doesn't make any sense to me. :confused3:confused3

Gotta love how doctors work. :headache::headache::headache:

I have never understood why doctors can't just do what they said they are going to do and ON TIME! Waiting on test results totally sucks and makes for such a stressful time.

Cayley is up and feeling better. Avery is good so far-crossing fingers.

Called Member Services today and combined our 2 ressies-we had been waitlisted for our first night. Now we do not have to check in and out!!! Also gave our airline info for ME. Ms Kathy is all set for her first ME ride!!! And Ms Lisa is making the girls some really cute dresses for the trip!!

I also booked our Fall trip. Girls and I arrive on Sat Oct 13 and Jeff arrives Wed Oct 17th. We all leave on the 21st. Girls and I are staying in a Savanna View Studio at Jambo House. When Jeff arrives we are staying at Jambo but switching to CLUB LEVEL!! Whooo Hooo, Happy Birthday to Jeff!!! We will for sure be doing the Sunrise Safari and enjoying the free drinks and munchies in the lounge.

Look, I'm on a roll. Pics from our Dec trip! The girls and I did 2 nights at POP, which was fun and then moved to Kidani-our first trip home! We stayed in a studio and then when Jeff arrived switched to a 1bd. We swam at POP but froze at MVMCP. Had Christmas at AK-was a really fun trip!

I'm glad Cayley is feeling better and that Avery hasn't gotten it yet. Tell them Miss Kathy said they need to get better quick.

I'm still sad we won't be together in the Fall. Although if the September dates don't work for the condo, maybe we'll be going in October??????

I love the pictures. I especially love the one of Cayley on the Carrousel and the two girls hugging. :goodvibes

Love the pictures Mary!

Push it to November and you might run into another family you 'know' :rolleyes1:rolleyes1
