Responses soon, but here is an update on Markie:

WE are NOT happy campers. After 1-1/2 hours waiting to see the doctor, we still do not know anything. They did NOT do the MRI. They want to do an MRI and some sort of Angiogram (carotid angiogram???) and that is scheduled for 7 a.m. on January 11. Then he goes back to the neurologist on February 21. I am NOT happy about this at all. They will, however, call him with results.

My guess is that the new doctor wanted to evaluate him -- question him, look at results from other doctor. But why they couldn't do the MRI and have it for his appointment is beyond me.

They better get working on this or they will be dealing with me.

Ugh. Surely they had to know how anxious you guys are. I'm sorry it's an ordeal. Waiting is no fun.

I'm booked Nov. 5-11. First 2 days just DD and I in a Royal room at POR then DH and DS fly in and we are all at the BC. We will be celebrating DD's 3rd bday and my niece's 10th

I told Tim this on FB, so I'll warn you too. NJ teachers convention is the 8-11 plus 12th is Veteran's Day. That's actually why we chose those dates. SIL is a teacher in NJ. It could be busier than we are used to, but it will be nice to have all of the cousins together at Disney.

If you do chose the 4th - 12th, we should have a meet.

Cayley is up and feeling better. Avery is good so far-crossing fingers.

Called Member Services today and combined our 2 ressies-we had been waitlisted for our first night. Now we do not have to check in and out!!! Also gave our airline info for ME. Ms Kathy is all set for her first ME ride!!! And Ms Lisa is making the girls some really cute dresses for the trip!!

I also booked our Fall trip. Girls and I arrive on Sat Oct 13 and Jeff arrives Wed Oct 17th. We all leave on the 21st. Girls and I are staying in a Savanna View Studio at Jambo House. When Jeff arrives we are staying at Jambo but switching to CLUB LEVEL!! Whooo Hooo, Happy Birthday to Jeff!!! We will for sure be doing the Sunrise Safari and enjoying the free drinks and munchies in the lounge.

Glad to hear that Cayley is feeling better and that Avery has no signs of getting the bug.

I am working on the dresses as we speak/type/you know what I mean. The size 5 red and white polka dot dress is done and the Tinkerbell one is cut out. I just have to find the colorful daisy fabric which is probably in a box in the closet. I know I had a a piece of it left from the other dress I made.

I am so sorry that Cayley was so ill! I know how hard that is on everyone... poor baby... poor mama I am glad to hear she is feeling better. She is such a cutie!

Speaking of cute... I just am confused by the title to this PTR. I mean seriously I can not imagine your girls not being cute!!!

And I am getting jealous of everyones dates.... I want to..hopefully go back in the fall... but it is all up in the air right now...but it won't be during any of the times that any of you have mentioned.

Ann, they are adorable...but they had an "easier time of it in September" because Dad didn't want to go from morning until closing. Mary and I will keep them hopping.

We are looking at September 14 - 21; but we may have trouble getting the condo the week after that, so our plans are up in the air right now.

I hear you on that one. Going in the winter is tough that way, you have to pack a little bit of everything. Obviously, layers work well.

Yea, not sure where I'll be living for ya'lls fall trips.....so I'm glad I got a day to spend with you guys before we move. I'm gonna really miss being so close to Disney!!

Kat, run them girls good!! They've gotten soooo big since I first met them. That was spring of last year I believe, and one rode with me on splash mtn for her first time, it was priceless!!! I love seeing Disney thru the eyes of the little ones!!!

As for the Dr's, it is a $$ thing. Don't let them push you around. I have SOOOO many dr's to keep up with, and all they want is the $$. ESPECIALLY the MDA dr. I'll keep praying for Markie, and be strong for your baby!! That's the hardest thing a mom can do!!!

Lots of dates floating around !!! I am completely unsure of when I will go this year !!It will either be May/June or Sept/ Oct , then we also have Universal to go to !! When the new Trip Books arrive I will see if they did indeed add a Christmas trip , well an early December one !!

Hey Kathy, I am late to the party and probably won't post like I'd like to (not having access to a computer all day at work stinks) but just want to say the plans look fun, the pictures are awesome and you gals will have so much fun!

Hope you get answers on Markie soon, I am so sorry I didn't know any of this was going on.

I am ordering no snow in Chicago the day you leave or come back!

Doctors can be so frustrating. Before I was even on medicare they required me to see the doctor each month. He only saw peritoneal dialysis patients 1 day a month at the Peoria office. Before medicare required that I see him I could just see the nurse if I had a date conflict. I also only saw the doctor every other month. After medicare made that requirement, if I coudln't see him on that 1 date I would have to go to his Morton office, which was an extra 15-20 minutes away (it was already a 45 minute drive)

Now I have something else going on...(non-kidney related, and minor) with a different doctor. He only does surgery on Mondays. I saw him yesterday to book my procedure. He couldn't do it next monday or the 16th, he wanted to schedule me the 23rd, but I fly out on the 24th and we didn't like that idea, I won't be back on the 30th, so we are scheduled for the 6th. Well, he can not do a surgical procedure if he hasn't "laid eyes on me" within 30 days.....feb 6th will be 31. So now I have to go let him "lay eyes on me" on the 1st just because of that 1 days difference.



But between now and then is a Disney trip so all is good!
