Originally, we were doing a split stay between Saratoga Springs and BLT. Mary asked if I wanted to switch to AKL since Mark and I fell in love with it. I told her NOT to change the plans because of me...I was fine with whatever she picked. Then Mary looked into Old Key West because there are two queen beds rather than a bed and a pull-out...she figured it would be more comfortable with two beds. This was absolutely fine with me because Mark and I really liked Old Key West a lot.

We all arrive on January 26. Mary and the girls fly, if I'm remembering correctly, around 4 or 4:30 (Mary correct me if I am wrong). My plane, barring a Chicago winter storm (I will be saying LOTS of prayers) arrives around 6 p.m.

Since this is a TOTAL surprise to the girls -- they don't know I'm coming, I told Mary to take the ME to the resort and then I would get there when my plane arrived and I hopped on the ME (this will be the first time I've taken the ME). Mary said the girls would need to eat so they would just eat in the food court and I will meet them there.

The girls told Mary to ask if I could come. We told them Mr. Mark said I couldn't go...so, unfortunately, right now, they think Mr. Mark is mean. I think they'll change their mind when they see me walk up at the airport.

If we don't get to the resort too late, we may attempt to go to Downtown Disney on this night.

Going to DTD on arrival night is a great idea...we did that as well and although we were tired we enjoyed some Disney magic before even getting to the parks.

Girl's Intros

I am going to do a brief introduction of each girl and then share some pics from our WDW trips.

Avery is 7.5 and in 2nd grade. She is a very bright and creative little girl. While that is a blessing most of the time it can also have its challenges. She does very well in school and loves to read. She started gymnastics in July and has worked her way up 2 Rec levels. She is hoping to advance to an "Elite" status soon. She hopes to be a Marine Biologist when she grows up. Loves anything ocean related Av"s first trip to Disney was in May 2009 at the age of 5.

Cayley is 5 and in K this year. She loves school but is a perfectionist and can be very hard on herself. She has a great sense of humor for someone her age. She is full of personality and loves art. Cayley also started gymnastics this summer and hopes to move up to an "elite" status as well. She wants to be a gymnastic coach when she grows up. Cayley's first trip to WDW was also in May 2009 when she was 2

Friday, January 27

Mary....be sure to correct me if I'm wrong and give your own thoughts too.

We will be going here in the morning:

I am sure we will be doing Space Mountain, Big Thunder, etc.

We have lunch reservations here:

After finishing off at MK, we'll head to Epcot where they have EMH's in the evening. Hopefully, we can get fastpasses for Soarin' and Test Track, see a purple dinosaur, etc.

And perhaps hit some shops in World Showcase:
