Will the kids still be cute after 6 days of 24/7? Updated -- Post 426, P 29

Well, as a fellow mom to three young girls, I completely concur with your title choice! My girls are great at traveling too but yes, they get hyper. Like too hyper for the car!

Like Mother, like daughters......... :rolleyes1

Hmmm, an all girls trip. I think I saw Glenn and Mark have joined in, and maybe Tim. Need to make sure I go invite Dan and a few more of the guys to come on over so we can testosterone this thing up a little!!! ;)

I am all for running over people who deserve it :) We will actually be leaving the 31st.....Our dates are the 26th thru the 31st. Hope that does not mess up seeing you. Where ya moving to?? I am all for questing

How about the 30th?? It's a Monday, that will make sure Tyler is still in school and such.

We're not sure where we're going yet, darn Government!! Hurry up and wait, that's where we're at now. We're hoping for Charleston SC or Kings Bay GA. We keep our FL residency as long as Chris is active duty, so that's a good thing!!

The quest is the link in my siggie, I'm trying to do everything at the parks in a year!! Updates are on pg one where I list them all. I almost got AK and DHS done!! :) I'm excited! We're heading to DHS on new years eve, and that's not a day to hop, so I'll try to finish up that park then :)

Monday sounds good. We will be doing Epcot. I hope Ucle Sam sends you somewhere good. I will have to check out all the quest things you have done!

To much quoting in the last post to quote again.

Ms Nicki I really hope to meet you!!!

Wouldn't it be great if she could come for a day or two? :goodvibes

Ms Kathy it is a good thing I asked for a Disney gift card for Christmas so I can pay for all those adult beverages!!! I am all for sitting by the pool and watching the girls swim. Hey I just had a thought ( yes it was lonely all by itself) Heather is driving and can bring adult bev in a bottle so we don't go broke.... Yes it was her you met!!

Mary, I asked for the same thing for Christmas...lots of Disney gift cards. :)

Like Mother, like daughters......... :rolleyes1

Don't you go starting trouble, Marv.

Joining in! Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for joining, Kelly.

Okay, let’s try this introduction again.

For those of you who have not read a previous PTR or TR of mine, I’m Kathy. I’m almost…ugh….54 years old. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Mark, for 28-1/2 years.

My first trip to Disney was many moons ago with a girlfriend. While we enjoyed ourselves and had fun, I thought that I wouldn’t do Disney again for a very long time. Then Mark came into my life and we are both “old” kids who love everything Disney.

We are the proud parents of two wonderful sons, Andy and Mark. Andy is 25 (soon to be 26) and still lives at home. Besides giving private baseball lessons, he also is an Assistant Varsity baseball coach at one of the local high schools (he also coaches a summer team and a fall team); Markie is 23 (and forever my baby) lives in Dubuque, Iowa. After graduation, Markie chose to remain in Dubuque and not move home. He has a girlfriend in Dubuque (a very serious girlfriend) and he is an Assistant Varsity wrestling coach at one of the high schools in Dubuque (he is also in charge of the youth wrestling program at the high school) and he works for an insurance company.

My two boys:

I have stayed at six resorts at Disney: All Star Sports (never again), Contemporary (okay, but no desire to go back), Polynesian (used to be our favorite), the Coronado Springs Resort (our “home away from home” for most trips), Old Key West and the Animal Kingdom Lodge/Kidani.

After Mary makes her introductions, I will post the where, the what we are doing, etc.

A few pictures of me at Disney through the years:

Hi Kathy :wave2: nice to meet you .....again!!! :goodvibes

better watch out looks like Marv is ready to :stir: yet again :rotfl:

I'm here....sorta! Just popping in to save my spot. I will try to keep up on this and try to get caught up on everybody elses. I'm especially looking forward to wardrobe choices for this trip. I need to back also, and have no idea what to take!

Love all the photos Kathy!!! I do always enjoy the older ones too. Nice to see how things have changed, and how they have stayed the same!!

Mary, Epcot works for me! I have a GAC too, so I can get me and 5 others in line with my chair :) Most of the time they send us thru the FP line with it, so it's come in handy quite a bit!!

So I decided to give each of us our own intro post-so I can share all the cuteness-except for mine of course.

I am Mary, 41 yr old SAHM. Married to my great Hubby Jeff for 11 years. Was knda into Disney growing up. We lived in Southern Ca so hit up DIsneyland quite a few times. Even went for my High School Grad Night. My real love for Disney started when I moved in with some girls after college. One was an absolute Disney freak. I watched all the Disney movies with her, bought the cute clothes form the Disney Store and started collecting Pooh stuff (my fav)

In 2008 we took out first (and only so far) Disney Cruise on the Magic to the Mexican Riveria.

In 2009 we took our first family trip to WDW on the buy 4 get 3 free promotion. In July of that year my Mom passed away. Being an only child who was raised by a single parent I was devestated. She had chronic health issues so it was not a shock but still very difficult. We decided to buy into DVC with some of the money she left us. We bought on the secondary market (before all the restrictions were added) Our home is AKV Kidani.

We returned in May of 2010 checking out our first DVC hotel Saratoga Springs. Had a great time. Girls and I returned in Sep 2010 when we met the infamous Mr Mark and Ms Kathy :) We have returned several times since including our big extended family trip this past Sep.

We have stayed at CBR,Saratoga Springs,Coronado Springs, Contempary,POP, and of course AKV Kidani. Of all of them we really love Kidani the best.

Here are a few pics of me ack

My Dad passed away when I was 5. My Mom went back to school when I was 7 at the local community college. After she finished she went on to UCSB (Uni of Ca at Santa Barbara) where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her BA. She then went on to graduate school at UCLA where she got her Master's also graduate Summa cum laude. She was a social worker specializing in drug and alcohol treatment. She was a very determined lady and a wonderful Mom

Pics of me are never great but thanks anyway :rotfl2:

I will do the girls intros this weekend, date night tonight whooo hoooo
