with everything going on today, how will this attraction survive. I would hate for this to go away. With the way people are removing statues the days have to be numbered for this

It’s hard to disagree with complaints that in its current form it largely celebrates racist white slaveholders. Washington and Jefferson alone owned hundreds of slaves each and never freed any of them during their lifetimes. There is a strong case for making the attraction more balanced and inclusive, such as by expanding the theme to incorporate the civil rights movement.

No, Disney has made it very clear in recent times that this attraction is not commemorating any particular President or his deeds. They are celebrating the institution of the democracy in the USA and all the leaders that were chosen by its people. The Presidents give short verbal acknowledgements ; they don't repeat their long speeches. Lincoln hasn't, since the World's Fair! LOL

It's the Hall of Presidents, not the Hall of Political Purity.

The statues being topped have nothing to do with the presidency.
Right. The statues that are being torn down are statues of Confederate leaders, who were sworn enemies of the United States of America. There is no reason to keep statues of American enemies standing.

The Presidents were all leaders of the United States of America. The fact that some great Presidents were directly involved with slavery, which was a cornerstone of American society for centuries, is not a reason to take their statues down. It is a reason to teach history with nuance, and to recognize that even great people who do great good can also have great faults and do great harm.
