Will the charge an AP for getting a lift to the park gate?

Question, I have a sedan (FL Tours) taking us from airport to PO FQ, since we are not doing a grocery stop I asked if he could bring us to our first park after we check in. He said sure, but they charge $9 for him to drive us up to the park enterence.

I have an annual pass voucher, will this wave the $9 fee they would try and charge our driver?

(Not that it should matter, but we will be headed to Epcot)

Otherwise, Im thinking for $9 Ill save the money and take the bus over, slower but hey, I dont need to pay that money just so he can get us through the gate.

I would just take the bus. It's free and easy! We never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus from our resort (CBR) and it is a very short trip to any of the parks. No need to pay more for your towncar service than you already are.

The $9 fee is charged to all town cars that go through the park entrances. You will not get it waived by having an activated AP, let alone a voucher.

Thanks Golden Oldie, Im disappointed, but glad I know. I guess this will create less pressure to check in and we can eat at the food court before heading over.

Why not have the car take you to an Epcot resort, and walk thru the International entrance (or whatever it's called!!!)?

While thats a good idea, i want to cut down on walking wherever possible- and I believe that would put on on the wrong side of the park- we're only going to ride Mission Space, maybe a few other things in future world.- the point of the sedan was to eliminate all walking/waiting- oh well.
We'll stop at the food court, and wont feel rushed, and then mosey over on the bus. Its okay.
