Will the buses be running?

We are planning on going to DHS to ride TSM during morning EMH and then spending the rest of the day at MK. So, we would get there at 8:00 for rope drop, go straight to TSM, ride that....hopefully, be done by 8:30-8:45 or so and ready for our day at MK. Does anyone know if the transfer bus b/w DHS and MK be running that early?

I thought the buses only ran from DHS to the TTC, not directly to the MK. Or maybe I misunderstood the question.

In our past visits we've noticed that early in the day the non-resort buses don't seem to run as frequently as they do later in the day. We've waited a really long time for them on some days. Another option you could consider would be to catch the bus from DHS to the Contemporary and then either walk or ride the monorail to the MK.

Yes, but the TTC bus IS the "MK bus."

Only resort buses terminate directly at the MK front gates.

All buses and monorails from the other parks terminate at TTC for MK (going and coming.)

If that happens, don't just continue to "wait."
Go up to the bus CM in the loading area the explain where you want to go.

If you don't see a CM in the bus area, go up to any sitting bus and tell a bus driver (or two) where you need to go.

I've heard that can work sometimes, but it hasn't been our experience. Last trip (in May) we waited for 50 minutes for a bus from AK to MK, and we asked several other bus drivers and CMs and they all said there would be a bus "soon". I don't know when a bus finally showed up because we gave up after 50 minutes and went to the Contemporary instead.

We got put on the next bus, by ourselves, and driven not to TTC, but directly to the MK gates.

Thank you all for your helpful information. I, too, have waited and waited and waited for a transfer from park to park and never thought to ask... just waited and waited... you get the idea. I like the idea of taking the bus to the Contemporary b/c I do think the buses will be pretty sporadic at that hour going to other parks. Glad to hear they will be running tho!
