Will Teppen Edo allow a 12 year old to order a kids meal?

Frist it depends on the restaurant, server and as always no set in stone policy. With the said.. You should/might be able to order but they could/might make it a adult portion and charge accordingly...

I had lunch with some friends at Corral Reef and her DD who is a special needs adult ordered off the kids menu and they made it adult size portion and charge accordingly, I don't know how much more as they were on DDP and I paid out of pocket...

I would just talk to the server...

I have eaten there many times and I have always found them very accommodating. They will most likely make the meal in an adult portion and charge accordingly. Enjoy!

Last year our 2 grandsons ages 11 & 12, ate off the children's menu at Teppan Edo with no problem. We paid out of pocket because they do not take Tables in Wonderland which is what we normally use in lieu of the the other discounts or dining plans. From what I have observed, the age limit for the child menu at most restaurants is only an issue if using the Disney Dining Plan. Just tell them you are paying OOP before they begin taking your order. Enjoy your meal!

Thanks. We had a great meal with no issues at all. I ended up tipping more than 20% but we both came away very satisfied. I am so glad she got the kids meal as she wanted the steak. The adult portions were big. We seldom eat beef so WDW and the cruises are steak opportunities.
Via Napoli was one place that refused to allow my ten and over kids the child's menu. I wasn't sure about Teppan Edo as I knew they weren't Disney owned.
