Alrighty, guys, I talked to our nurse who is fantastic. This is the woman who helped me through exclusively pumping for DS and who is just amazing with kids. I love, love, love her!

We had stopped giving DS Tylenol because his fever came down. She recommended starting it again because she said some of the kids are feeling very crampy and nauseous and it's hindering their ability to keep anything down. So I just gave it to him, and a little bit of juice. In about a half an hour, she said to try a tiny bit of dry cereal, like Cheerios and see if he can keep it down. I'm supposed to call her back at 1100 to let her know how it's going. If he doesn't improve, we have to go in to make sure he's not dehydrated.

So we have our heading.

It sounds like a good plan. I'll keep you posted.

I love it! When I was eight years old, my mom took me and my sister to see Peter Pan in the theater. I had what I thought was a stomach ache, but was so distracted by the film, I didn't notice how bad it was until the car ride home...as I was doubled over in the back seat...diagnosis?

Acute appendicitis! Needless to say I had a little surgery that day.



You know I don't think I've actually mentioned favorites so far. It's very, very hard for me to pick a favorite. If I could do a favorite for each park that would be easier!

Table Service-

Magic Kingdom - The Crystal Palace - hands down, I love the Pooh characters and the food here is great, we prefer lunch or dinner since we usually do breakfast at Chef Mickey's

Epcot - The Coral Reef - excellent!
Also, Nine Dragons in China - best Chinese food ever, but it'll be closed for renovations during the rest of the year

MGM - The Brown Derby - on the dining plan, it's a signature restaurant, but if you're paying out of pocket, you might want to consider lunch, I love the atmsophere and the food is excellent

Animal Kingdom - ????? Can you believe I've never done a sit down meal here? Usually on our Animal Kingdom day I end up going to tea at the Grand Flo, so I'm at a loss

And we do love Chef Mickey's for breakfast. The food is great, and it's always fun to see Mickey and friends.

Now, don't even get me started on favorite counter service...I have so many

I have been debating about Crystal Palace. Seeing that it is just DF and I, I am reluctant to try it. DF went into panic mode when he saw pictures of napkin waving. Though I did get him agree to the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare because Mary Poppins is there. Mary Poppins! I NEED my picture with Mary Poppins.

Oh, gosh. DH and I went to the Crystal Palace many, many times before we had DS. And the parade/napkin stuff they do with the kids is no big deal, much tamer than some other character experiences. If you like a buffet (I looooooove a good buffet) just go for it! You won't regret it. And if DF resists, tell him TK said so!

You'll have to let me know how you like 1900 Park Fare. I've heard mixed reviews, but I really like some of the characters they have there, so at some point, I want to try it again. I have been, but many, many moons ago. My mom loves Mary Poppins! According to her, they are both practically perfect in every way. I have a lovely pic of them from my last trip, she was in Epcot near England.

As long as he's taking in fluids and keeping them down that's a big , he'll let you know when he's ready for some food. Have you hear from your DH on how he's feeling at work today?

Magic Kingdom - Hands down without a doubt absolutely the best in the World and the world - Casey's - I love their hot dogs! I love the cheese sauce. I love to dip my french fries in the cheese sauce, and alternate between cheese sauce and ketchup. It used to be, back when Southwest ran later afternoon flights, that I would have a Casey's hot dog on our last day before we left the World. It was my tradition. Since the flights have gone haywire, it is now my tradition to have it towards the beginning of the trip, to sort of kick off the fact that I'm in the World. I have a deep, unnatural love of this meal.

On a side note, I used love Pinnochio's Village Haus when they served burgers. DH and I would get burgers and watch people go on IASW. I was so dissappointed in the menu change, I haven't eaten there since. Sometimes I sneak in for a little break during off times while DS is napping, and I sit and wave to the people going on IASW. I know what you're thinking. Disney chic!

MGM - ABC Commissary - always something good here. Last time I had the Cuban sandwich and DS liked it. This is a great place, because when we travel with the fam, they all find something they like. Also it's in relatively close proximity to my favorite candy shop!

Animal Kingdom - Sadly, I don't have one. I'm hoping to rectify that on this trip. Flame Tree Barbecue here I come!

Epcot -

This is going to be daunting...

The Electric Umbrella is good if you're looking for traditional fare. Last time I was there they had a nice chicken/Asian type salad, not sure if they still do.

Cantina de San Angel has Mexican food that I actually like. And I love the frozen margaritas! Yum, yum.

If you're looking for something fancier, Norway has an excellent lox lunch that my mother loves. Plus, everybody on the DIS seems to go nuts for school bread. I haven't had it, perhaps this time around.

I also love Japan's counter service because they have really good sushi. I do find, however, that after I eat sushi, I am hungry a couple of hours later! Since I'm in the World Showcase, this is no problem!

Also, the Land pavilion has an excellent selection of lots of different kinds of food. Great if you and DF are in the mood for something different.

Now I am trying to think if I have missed anything. My brain feels all hazy. LOL

If I think of more, I'll post them!

You're right, he knows his own body. He's asking for a lot more to drink now, I am very cautiously letting him sip from the cup instead of teaspoonfuls. He keeps asking for more, so far, so good. Keep your fingers crossed!

No word from DH yet. He did say he felt better after he took a shower, and had some saltines, so I guess he's okay? I'll be calling him later, so I'll let you know.

It's so worrisome to make sure I get to try all this wonderful food! I keep trying to console myself that if I don't get it all I will just have to plan another trip! I have seen pictures of that schoolbread and it looks amazing. I think I am going to have to do some serious ADR thinking today.

Don't worry about trying to fit it all in. You'll drive yourself nuts. And remember bad experiences can be had at good places, and vice versa. So just pick what you like, and remember, there's always next time!
