Star Tours has always been a stretch for me. But then again I can get dizzy watching a roller coast on youtube
I guess I can spin but not fall. But as a die hard Star Wars fan I ride it. I love it but ask for the front for less motion and honestly I do look at the floor a lot
I totally disagree with those saying that if you can do Dinosaur, Star Tours will be fine. They are not even remotely the same! Yes they are both jerky, but what got me in Star Tours was the 3D.
Star Tours is one of the only WDW rides I can't do (never tried M:S and know I can't handle the teacups)! I had to take my glasses off almost immediatley but since the entire room is moving there is really no escape.
If motion simulator rides make you quesy, I would skip it or take dramamine. I know I won't be riding again!!
. have done Mission Space Orange and I was OK but feel no need to ever ride it again. I only rode it so my then 6 year old could ride.Have never ridden Star Tours as the multitude of motion sickness signs have always scared me off. Was wondering if it would make me sick?
I've ridden the following with no problems: Soarin, Tower of Terror, all 3D movies, Splash, Dinosaur.
Pushing my limits but I usually enjoy them are: Thunder and Space.
If I'm feeling brave (and last trip I didn't) but I know I won't feel right 50% of the time: EE.
I wouldn't dare try: Mission Space or Rockin Roller Coaster.
Thoughts?
). The new Star Tours leaves me queasy for a while, along with Sum of All Thrills at Epcot and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Islands of Adventure. I think it is the sideways motion that gets me.
I can ride each of them once, but not any more than that.
