Does anyone know if specially priced DVC 4 day park tickets will be available again this year? Also - Are DVC members considered Florida residents for the purpose of buying Florida resident tickets? Thank you. I am planning a January 2016 trip!

No one knows if they will release any ticket specials.

DVC members are not FL Residents but the DVC Annual Pass and Premium Annual Pass are the same price as FL Resident.

We are going in November and really hoping for the 4 day 4 park tickets!

DVC has never had Florida resident status.

If a ticket special comes out, someone here will post it so the best way to find out is to watch this board.

To add to everyone's good information, in order to get any kind of Disney FL resident discount, you MUST have either a FL driver's license or a utility bill with a FL address.

We just returned from a trip using the 4-day 4-park pass. It changed how we make reservations (one 1 park/day, so only 1 supper in Epcot, for instance). But we liked the focus and they were certainly inexpensive! If they come back, we'd use them again.

Here's the actual list. We always use our bank statements.

Florida Resident Tickets:
Proof of a Florida residential address is required. For each ticket purchased for an adult, you may provide any of the following:
  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • Valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
  • Valid Florida-based military ID

If you do not have one of the IDs indicated above, then for each ticket purchased for an adult you must provide one of the following dated within the last 2 months and evidencing a Florida residential address (not a PO Box) together with a corresponding picture ID (passport, driver's license, state identification card):

  • Monthly mortgage statement
  • Florida vehicle registration or title
  • Homeowner's insurance policy or bill
  • Automobile insurance policy or bill
  • Utility bill
  • Mail from a financial institution, including checking, savings or investment account statement
  • Mail from a federal, state, county or city government agency
The persons who will use the Florida Resident adult tickets must be present at the time of ticket pick up. A print of an electronic bill of the type described above is acceptable. Photocopies and fax copies of bills are not acceptable.

Does anybody know for sure if the DVC FL resident clause is unique to DVC or if it is part of standard FL timeshare law? I'm assuming the latter is the case but I have often wondered.

it's a disney rule. why would the state of FL care who qualifies for disney ticket discounts?
