We are cruising out of Miami in April and, due to the lack of Wanna Getaway Fares, ending up booking flights from Islip to West Palm Beach. Today there is availability for the flight down from Hartford (our closest airport) to Fort Lauderdale, but not for the trip back. I'd like to book the flight from Hartford to Fort Lauderdale, and then watch to see if fares are released for the return flight. But, in the meantime, I'd like to keep the current booking from Islip to West Palm, just in case return flights to Hartford are not released at a decent fare. In the end, I'll either book a return flight to Hartford and cancel the round trip Islip to West Palm booking, or cancel the one way from Hartford and keep the Islip to West Palm. Everything is booked with points, so there is no issue with cancelling.
Can I book the Hartford to Fort Lauderdale flight without cancelling the other, or will the SW system see that it's impossible for me to be on both of these flights and cancel one?
