We've been having 100 degrees+ days for I don't know how long. I'm so tired of it. All my plants look pathetic despite my attempts at watering. Please. please someone turn off the heat. :crazy2:

Thanks!

We've been hovering around or just over 100 degrees for a good chunk of the summer. I refuse to complain though because I hate winter. :)

It's been hot as you-know-what here too. :sunny:

With our humidity, our heat index is quite often in the triple digits. I keep telling myself, "this too shall pass".

Bring on October already! :woohoo:

Soon, I promise, soon.......................

I hate it when the weatherman sez "we might have a chance at rain"...LIAR!!

What we wouldn't give for 85 degrees at 9:30 pm. It is 95 degrees here at 9:30 pm.

Put the plants in the shower, turn it on and and let them get soaked, plants LOVE this!! Keep them there for a while to drain. The next day they should look good as new.

It is miserable hot (and humid as well!) here. I just keep being thankful that I have AC and a working fridge and icemaker!!! Spending last September with no electricity was almost intolerable.

We have been having rain, though. At least 2 or 3 times a week. Something else to be thankful for I guess. Although after it rains, the outdoors is worse than any sauna. It makes it almost impossible to breathe.

Does any state have good summer weather? I live in the fabulous "sunshine state". Sunshine, my aunt's patootie. It rains every day, rain or shine. 10% or 90% chance of it.

First you hear the roar of thunder. The sky gets darker and darker. Then the lightening crashes all around you. Flash here. Flash there. Everywhere a flash, flash, flash..... Pretty soon the house shakes and you're unplugging computers, tvs, gaming consoles. You're unplugging your children from whatever electronic device they are attached to. Before you can complete the unplugging process, the lights go and you are plunged into darkness. And before long, you are resetting every clock in the house that is not battery powered.

As if this is not miserable enough, it does not rain, it pours -- buckets. Hard, icy cold rain, usually for quite a while. The worms and snakes have to flee their holes and take refuge at every entrance to your home. It continues to rain.

When the rain has finally passed, it has one final gift to all of us who have waited so patiently. Mug, humidity, sauna city. It is unbarable, sticky and uncomfortable. It will stay this way until the heat of the day tomorrow, sets this great plan in motion once again. Day in and day out. Welcome to my summer and thanks for letting me share. :teeth:

Send some heat on over here!! :yay:

Its barely making 70 most days, I'm sitting here in a sweater and jeans and our outside thermonmeter is reading 61 degrees (at 11.20am) :umbrella:

It is so muggy already today, I thought I'd share.

If this doesn't work for you:

Maybe this:
