Will senior citizens love DL?

I am the OP.... perhaps it isn't a particular age that makes you a senior citizen. However, DH and I are both retired, we both collect Social Security, and we have 8 grandchildren, ranging in age from 6 months to 16 years. I think we qualify. ;)
Our dates are now firm. We will be at DL Sept 27, 28, 29. We plan to buy a two day pass and will spend one day touring the hotels and DD.
I have one more question. My DD has given us Disney Dollars as a retirement gift. Do the Disney onsite hotel restaurants take them as payment for a meal?

I even used the term in a couple of posts today. I maybe older than the average Diser but I for some reason never think of myself as "senior" anything. I have retired from 3 very different careers and still have two jobs. College expenses for my kids seem to gooble up the bucks.
Wish I could answer your your Disney bucks question.

Have a good one.

Jack

DH retired 5 years ago after 42 years with the same company...Loving our senior (I liken it to highschool years :lmao: We are in our serior year) years and Disney...one or two trip every year...

YES YOU WILL LOVE IT! (enough said...)

DMIL is 75 -- she loves Disney -- we recently convinced her to use the electric scooters and now she really loves it! We're all happier! :dance3: Now, my mom is a whiner and won't use the scooters! So, we won't take her any more because, frankly she whines so much she ruins our whole day! So, go and if you have trouble walking or if you think you might, GET THE SCOOTER FIRST THING!!!, and have fun! :grouphug:

DH and I are senior citizens and love Epcot at WDW. We will be in So Cal the first week in Oct. We plan on two days in DL. We have never been there. We are not interested in thrill rides. Is there still enough that we will love in both parks? Should we invest in park hoppers?

Yes! Senior citizens will love Disneyland! The magical thing about DL is how Walt created with love a place that pleasures all your senses! There is so much visually to soak in, couple it with the wonderful music and other sounds, and the amazing aromas whaiffing through the air! Oh, I miss DL! Long story short,You will have a wonderful time!:thumbsup2

My parents just took my 82 year old grandma last month. She went on all of the rides, including Screamin' and LOVED them! :goodvibes
