Will security let this bag thru?

DD and I are flying in and heading straight to the park. We are only flying with carry-ons that fit under our seat. This bag fits size dimensions of the lockers, but I wanted to make sure a rolling bag like this is allowed thru security. We are also taking a backpack.

They may require an escort to the lockers. Rolling backpacks are not allowed. So not sure why they would allow this roller But with luggage they will usually escort you to the outside lockers.

Yes, you can get through security but they will ask you to open it so they can check inside. Also, you probably wont be able to bring it pass the gates, so they will ask you to store it at the outside lockers as Malcon10t said.

Are you staying at a hotel close by? Hotels normally allow you to store luggage prior to check in time. This way you do not have to worry about bringing it to Disney

Yep.

OP, I can't think of a hotel or motel nearby that wouldn't stash the bag if you're staying there. Just stop by your motel/hotel before heading to the parks!

I don't think they will allow you in the parks with that.

I've never seen them restrict the use of any bag no matter how big - and some are huge.
They'll have to take the time to go through everything in it though. Not sure you want to be "that person" at the front of the line. If you have "danties" or other clothing in there it may end up on display while they search.
On a seperate note, I saw them catch two people with selfie sticks last week. A young lady tried very hard to hide it but they got it anyway.

We are doing an AirBNB and can't check in til 3pm. Otherwise we always drop off at the hotel prior to the parks.

It isn't the size, it is the roller bag. You aren't allowed one that you pull/push. I watched someone Sunday get turned away with a backpack sized roller.

I think we will probably just take 2 backpacks instead of one and the roller bag. We are going to the Dodger game Monday night before we fly out at midnight and I don't know if they'll let the rollerbag in there either. I wasn't thinking about the game when I asked about the park.

They won’t let you in Dosger Stadium with a “purse, backpack, or bag larger than 16x16x8” so it looks like the dimensions are ok. Not sure about the rollers though. Or if ‘bag’ includes something that could be classed as a suitcase.

Plus I don’t think I’d want the contents of my suitcase on display!
