Not sure why you have to do it 72hrs before.
At RPR frontdesk checkin, they do checkin 24hrs before our flights, and print out our boarding passes as well, for our flights to Gatwick and Dublin flights, so do not see whay they cannot do it 72 hrs out
RPH did the work for me when i needed to check in for my return flight when i stayed there.
i used the lobby concierge at the back of the check in lobby. (the opposite end of the valet/baggage storage area.)
they went on line, checked me in and printed my boarding pass.
the airlines i have flown with would not allow me to check in until 24 hours or less from that departure time.
RPH will be glad to help you with the necessary flight check in when you ask them.
rachelanne, are you flying with Virgin, because you do not need to confirm flights 3 days before you come home, just go to DTD that morning to checkin, or do online checkin and drop the bags at the airport when you arrive
Not sure, but i think its about 1 hr, but we are usually at the airport about 2to 3 hrs before our flight anyway, bit more shopping and have something to eat before the flight, should tell you on the Virgin site.
we flew SW & were able login to grab our spot in line while on a cruise via cellphone (southwestmobile.com) ; might want to check out whether it's offered by Virgin
