will resort keep groceries cold?

Hi!

First timer on the Transportation board. We're taking a car service to Bay Lake for our trip in a few weeks. After a grocery stop, we anticipate arriving at the resort by about 12 or 1pm. If our room is not ready, will the resort keep the cold items refrigerated for us? And will they keep the other groceries with our luggage?

Anyone have any experience with this issue specifically at Bay Lake?

Thanks!

I wouldn't take the chance. If you don't know if your room will be available when you arrive, you would be better to not buy anything that needs refrigeration.

Yes, they will keep your refrigerated items cold.

We stayed at Bay Lake Towers last summer and ordered from Garden Grocer. Our grocery order had arrived early - we hadn't even checked in yet. Everything went very smoothly. I called for our groceries as soon as we checked into our room and they were delivered immediately. Our cold items had been kept cold and our frozen items (ice cream) were also stored properly.

I highly recommend the grocery delivery service. It was so nice to not have to run to the grocery store. :thumbsup2

I just re-read your question and realize you are stopping at the grocery store on your way to the resort. I don't know if they will keep your items cold.

You may definately want to consider ordering from Garden Grocer as the resort will keep your items cold if your order arrives prior to check in. We tried to time our grocery arrival at the time we would be checking in that day.

Sorry I didn't read your question thoroughly before I posted my response.

I'm inclined to think that the resort would store cold items regardless of whether they were delivered or brought by the guest to the resort. Right?

Yes they will. Just try to get all the 'cold' items in one bag, and then let Bell Services know which bag it is. They have no issue putting cold stuff away in the fridge for you.
It doesn't matter how those 'keep cold' items get there....by the guest or a grocery delivery service. Bell Services will put it away appropriately for you.
