will rain cover fit rental strollers?

i just bought a rain cover for the stroller at babies r us and wondered if it will fit the rental strollers as we are not schlepping ours from home. also, has anyone heard latest rain updates? we leave friday morning!!!

Most rain covers will not work since the strollers are the oversize plastic ones and not in a normal shape.

As for the rain, it is the typical Florida weather with the possibility of rain every afternoon. However the rainstorms are generally short and then it is usually clear for the rest of the day.

Would a rain cover for a jogging stroller work better? Or even a cover for a double stroller? I am renting a stroller in October and will have this same problem!
